Vicious Brownies - updated

Why 'vicious'? I named them vicious because of the intense level of chocolate. These are for serious chocoholics.
  • 1 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 oz bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1-2 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/4 soft stick margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (no fake stuff, get the best you can buy)
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons Hersey chocolate syrup
  • 1 Betty Crocker Original Supreme Brownie Mix package (not Duncan Hines)
  • 1 Betty Crocker Brownie Mix Hersey's syrup packet (included in mix box)
  • 1.5 -2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 big glass of ice cold fresh milk

Preheat convection oven to 325 degrees, generously butter bottom of a 9" X 13" or 9” x 9” pan.

My preferences: mix everything (except the Betty Crocker mix and the nuts) well. Add mix and stir by hand just until batter is moist, add nuts and mix by hand. Brownie batter should be given a light touch; no heavy duty mixing here. Pour batter into pan and bake until toothpick comes out clean 45 minutes for 9" X 13" pan, 60 minutes for 9” x 9” pan.

Don't forget the ice cold milk. For a chocolate fix, it doesn't get any better than this, folks.
